| New Concept by Tomo Izakaya
Tomo Izakaya has added a new concept to its business – Tori Tomo, a food kiosk serving delicious yakitori, salads and onigiri located at Basement 2 of Plaza Singapura opened in early August 2010. The new concept is inspired by the bustling Depachika-style or basement food stores found in Japan.
At Tori Tomo, you can enjoy yakitori with different seasonings, besides the traditional salt and pepper or teriyaki sauce, there is black pepper, miso, garlic, onion and Japanese leek.
You’ll be spoilt for choices by the variety of salads we offer - our salads come tossed with various vegetables, and ingredients such as boiled pork, tofu, octopus and other seafood. They have been tossed and mixed with different dressings to provide a healthy balanced meal.
The Onigiri or rice balls served at Tori Tomo is wholesome and delicious. Unlike other onigiris, which is rice ball will fillings, Tori Tom’s rice balls are mixed with the fillings so every bite is tasty and flavorful.
